Satin Fabric Printing

Satin fabric is identified as a highly lustrous, smooth, and elastic fabric. This fabric often has two sides: one side is shiny, and the other is dull. The high-shine and silky texture of satin make it suitable for embellishments and perfect for a fancy occasion. The production of satin fabric dates back to medieval times in China, where it was exclusively manufactured along with silk. Although satin was initially crafted out of real silk, modern-day satin is synthetically manufactured from rayon and polyester threads.

As most satin weaves have high thread count and density, it is characterized by its beautiful drapes and durable nature. In addition, satin weaves are less likely to get wrinkled as compared to other fabrics.
